Lovers

Wrapped up in you.  My entire being focuses on you.  There is nowhere, everywhere, and here.  There is you, and I, and passion.  Fingers exploring.  Mouths are fused.  Soft groans, endless kisses, explorations, laughter, an entry, and acceptance, and love, sweat, pushing, pulling, and urging one another to the finish.  A completion worth the effort.  A crescendo of an end.

You and I are a, we.  It’s a ponder how we perform our lived ballet with such proficiency.  How we love and long so fine.  We complete one another, but we are as complete apart.  You’re the piece of me I didn’t know I needed.  You say I am the half you were always missing, but you felt you always wanted.  We are together, apart, joint, separate, and always synchronized.  Apart we make a song, singular, pure, true, and to the point.  Together we harmonize, building upon the songs we sing alone.  We make a quality of sound, resounding, reverberating, and creating a consummate congruence of continuum.

With the sunrise, intertwined, tangled in linen.  Exposed to one another, our eyes open, an observance of one another.  A smile shines in your dark eyes.  A grin curves my lips.  We come together, an ocean of waves, emotions flooding my system.  A conflagration of endless moments of you and I to come.  We share this world, within the quarters of our own making.  You are my life, the breath I breathe, the dream come reality.  Without you I could live, but I don’t have to.  And that’s the marvel.  You and I are we.  And the us, we are lives through this life and into eternity, as lovers.
